Building on the long working relationship One Nine Media and Boost Mobile, and their sponsorship of Erebus Motorsport, the Bathurst Wildcard project was on conceived. When Boost Mobile decided to implement a Wildcard program, we knew there would be an opportunity to create great Supercars content around the program. It turned out to be even better. Pairing Richie Stanaway with Supercars legend Greg Murphy was always going to be a great story, and the results of the 2022 Bathurst race made it a great story. Our One Nine Media team were there to capture the emotion and more private scenes, to bring the viewers deep into the world of Supercars racing.
Key to the success of this documentary production was down to the small, multi-skilled and dedicated team, deeply experienced in the sport, with long standing relationships with the stories protagonists. The wonderful cooperation of Supercars in supplying broadcast footage, both from the 2022 Bathurst 1000, and historical footage added significantly to the story in edit.

We were able to create a broadcast documentary that was incredibly well accepted by fans. Airing multiple times on Seven, Foxtel and Sky NZ as a standard block.
